January Sales Shopping Haul - Hollister, Levis, Converse, Catrice & More!

I decided to write a post about some items I picked up in the January sales. I love a good bargain in sales and Christmas/January is the ideal time of year for bargains in stores.
The items shown below were bought in various places, the Hollister clothes were bought on the Hollister website, the rest were bought in shops in my local town.

The Catrice products are from McCauley's pharmacy, I can't wait to use the pretty eye shadows!

The pairs of Converse and boots: local store, all size 8 (Funges - they have a half price sale every Christmas and it resembles a World War each year)
Tote bag was also from another local shop - ideal for college and all my notes!

I can't wait to wear these bright yellow Converse in Summer, they're so bright and cheery.

This pair are purple suede, they feel so soft.

These ankle boots are incredibly cosy and warm, ideal for the cold weather at the moment!

Levis jeans both from Funges, despite the insane crowds in the store, I'm thrilled with the items I bought! The jeans are so comfortable.

Here's two Hollister hoodies (one with a zip, the other a pullover) and a black top with lace detail on the sleeves.

I thought this top would be adorable for next Christmas!

A pink zipped hoodie and two tshirts, they're so comfortable!

Hollister items from Hollister website in their Christmas sale, missing from photos above is this top shown below. Screen grab is from the Hollister website

Disclaimer, I personally paid for all of these items, none were gifts from companies or relatives.

Did you pick up any bargains in the Christmas/January sales? Let me know down below in the comments!
Grace of Dainty Sprinkles and I also filmed a couple of AwkwardSprinkles videos, I'm currently editing one so I will try upload it as soon as possible

Shopping Haul, feat. Hollister, Orla Kiely & Local Shops!

Hey Everyone!

I apologise for my lack of blogging as of late, so here's a haul of some items I've purchased in recent weeks. The shops I bought from were Hollister, Orla Kiely and a couple of local shops in my area.  I was checking my emails and found that several sales were going on and of course, I couldn't resist!

First up is this gorgeous purse from the Orla Kiely website. Orla Kiely is an Irish designer and I'm a big fan of supporting local and Irish. My last purse was quite dark so this new purse has injected a pop of colour into my handbag (also an Orla Kiely design - can you tell that I like her designs?) I will admit that I only buy her designs when they're on sale as I'm a student with very limited spending power!

After that, I went onto the Hollister website. which coincidentally was also having a sale. (Sales are my favourite thing, okay) I picked up this pretty long-sleeved top. It's really soft and cosy - perfect for Winter! I generally wear short-sleeves so this will be wonderfully warm in the coming months.

I adore hoodies so I bought this one on the Hollister website too. It's really roomy and so warm! It's very spacious and generous for its size - a rarity for Hollister! It's perfect for chilly evenings.

Also in Hollister, I picked up this light, white t-shirt. Like the hoodie, it's very roomy and made of a wonderfully soft fabric. I haven't worn this t-shirt yet but it'll be perfect should the Summer decide to return. (Fingers crossed!)

I was going around my local shops and came across this stunning bag. I'll most likely be bringing it to the Debs in August. The bag sparkles in sunlight and I just adore it.

A new arts & craft shop opened recently, so obviously I had to go for a little peek even though I wouldn't be the definition of an artist. (I felt inspired to make my own cards after leaving though, which is a start) I came across the butterfly, unicorn and cow stickers which are unbelievably adorable. I'll definitely be making more trips to try release my inner ''artist'' (I'll be positive seeing as I can barely draw a straight line)

Have you bought any interesting items/products lately or any summer sale bargains? Let me know in the comments!

Summer Haul!

Hey Everyone!

I was doing some Summer shopping lately and decided that I should show you some of the items I bought. Last week I went for a little trip to Penneys (Primark) as well as some of the local shops in my town.

After reflecting upon the photos, I realised that I have quite the penchant for turquoise. My bedroom was actually turquoise for several years until I changed the colour scheme to white and pink. Perhaps it's my conscience attempting to cling to the calming effect of the turquoise? Who knows, probably I just really like the colour.

As I sat down and began to type this post, I realised I forgot an item or two so they're down below. Have you been doing any shopping or picked up any bargains recently? Let me in the comments!

I got this cute little bag in Penneys. I'm planning on using it as a pencil case in September, it's sure to brighten any mood.

I picked up this beautiful blouse in a local shop today that had a half price sale. I adore the collar and lace detail.

While I bought the white blouse, I also saw these turquoise skinny jeans. The photos don't do these jeans justice, they're more green in sunlight.

Another local shop was doing a summer sale and I bought this Superdry t-shirt. It's really comfortable, cosy and fits really well.

Amongst my escapades, I bought my debs shoes! (ssh, I bought my dress and am waiting for it to arrive, you'll see photos of it after the debs in August!)
I have to admit, I fell in love with these shoes and they've a small heel so I'll be able to walk in them too!

This pair of white sandals are so comfortable. I generally don't wear sandals but I really like this pair. I'll be wearing these for sure on warm days.

I have been waiting to buy a pair of Skechers for a good while now and finally did! This pair also featured in last weeks blog post which you can see here.

I saw this top in Penneys and loved it! It's a very thin material so I'm planning on wearing it with a bright fuchsia pink t-shirt underneath to emphasise the delicate detail.

I picked up this gorgeous black clutch in TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago. It'll be ideal for nights out so I'm not carrying my Orla Kiely bag around!

I hope you enjoyed my Summer Shopping Haul!
I'll try post again soon, tomorrow I'm heading up to Dundrum with Grace for a Summer meet up so expect a blog post about that.

Blogger Meet Up & Squad Goals!

Hey Everyone!

I'd like to tell all you wonderful people about the recent blogger meet up I attended on Sunday!
I travelled to Dundrum with Grace (special shout out to Grace's Mam for giving me a lift) to meet 5 of the loveliest bloggers! Grace and I were early and after various comical attempts of trying to locate the meeting point (including walking past the designated area, round of applause, if you please) we stood around, filled with exhilaration, nerves and excitement.

Jane was next to arrive, with Grace and I running to greet her (and probably scaring her, sorry!) Next to arrive was Chloe, Aoife, Sarah and Celine. With the Squad assembled, we went to Eddie Rockets with our brilliant 'Tour Guide' Jane! We sat in one large booth and had lunch. A highlight was definitely when Jane whipped out her selfie stick (the exact same as mine, what are the odds?) and began taking selfies of the group! I think poor Grace nearly fainted when she saw it. (The stares of the people in the restaurant were of confusion and amusement and caused lots of giggles later on)

Afterwards, we went window-shopping in Bershka and Penneys (and awkwardly bumping into my cousin, small world!) as well as having a cold and frosty experience in Starbucks which led to a very swift exit. The cameras, phones and selfie sticks emerged once again and a mass frenzy of selfie-taking occurred. Soon sadly, it was time to part ways, not before more selfies, giggles, socialising and laughing.

It truly was a wonderful experience to meet girls who's blogs I read and comment on. The realisation that like me, they are normal girls and not just photos on a laptop screen is truly humbling. It was a brilliant day, spent with fantastic company, all the girls are so nice, bubbly, energetic and carefree. I think it can definitely be said that an excellent day was had by all. We are 'The Squad' with our Squad Goals as well as realising that people on elevators look sad. (No regrets)

Down below are some photos from the meet up!

(L-R) Chloe, Grace, myself, Jane, Celine, Sarah and Aoífe!

We're stunning aren't we?
