January Sales Shopping Haul - Hollister, Levis, Converse, Catrice & More!

I decided to write a post about some items I picked up in the January sales. I love a good bargain in sales and Christmas/January is the ideal time of year for bargains in stores.
The items shown below were bought in various places, the Hollister clothes were bought on the Hollister website, the rest were bought in shops in my local town.

The Catrice products are from McCauley's pharmacy, I can't wait to use the pretty eye shadows!

The pairs of Converse and boots: local store, all size 8 (Funges - they have a half price sale every Christmas and it resembles a World War each year)
Tote bag was also from another local shop - ideal for college and all my notes!

I can't wait to wear these bright yellow Converse in Summer, they're so bright and cheery.

This pair are purple suede, they feel so soft.

These ankle boots are incredibly cosy and warm, ideal for the cold weather at the moment!

Levis jeans both from Funges, despite the insane crowds in the store, I'm thrilled with the items I bought! The jeans are so comfortable.

Here's two Hollister hoodies (one with a zip, the other a pullover) and a black top with lace detail on the sleeves.

I thought this top would be adorable for next Christmas!

A pink zipped hoodie and two tshirts, they're so comfortable!

Hollister items from Hollister website in their Christmas sale, missing from photos above is this top shown below. Screen grab is from the Hollister website

Disclaimer, I personally paid for all of these items, none were gifts from companies or relatives.

Did you pick up any bargains in the Christmas/January sales? Let me know down below in the comments!

Shopping Haul, feat. Hollister, Orla Kiely & Local Shops!

Hey Everyone!

I apologise for my lack of blogging as of late, so here's a haul of some items I've purchased in recent weeks. The shops I bought from were Hollister, Orla Kiely and a couple of local shops in my area.  I was checking my emails and found that several sales were going on and of course, I couldn't resist!

First up is this gorgeous purse from the Orla Kiely website. Orla Kiely is an Irish designer and I'm a big fan of supporting local and Irish. My last purse was quite dark so this new purse has injected a pop of colour into my handbag (also an Orla Kiely design - can you tell that I like her designs?) I will admit that I only buy her designs when they're on sale as I'm a student with very limited spending power!

After that, I went onto the Hollister website. which coincidentally was also having a sale. (Sales are my favourite thing, okay) I picked up this pretty long-sleeved top. It's really soft and cosy - perfect for Winter! I generally wear short-sleeves so this will be wonderfully warm in the coming months.

I adore hoodies so I bought this one on the Hollister website too. It's really roomy and so warm! It's very spacious and generous for its size - a rarity for Hollister! It's perfect for chilly evenings.

Also in Hollister, I picked up this light, white t-shirt. Like the hoodie, it's very roomy and made of a wonderfully soft fabric. I haven't worn this t-shirt yet but it'll be perfect should the Summer decide to return. (Fingers crossed!)

I was going around my local shops and came across this stunning bag. I'll most likely be bringing it to the Debs in August. The bag sparkles in sunlight and I just adore it.

A new arts & craft shop opened recently, so obviously I had to go for a little peek even though I wouldn't be the definition of an artist. (I felt inspired to make my own cards after leaving though, which is a start) I came across the butterfly, unicorn and cow stickers which are unbelievably adorable. I'll definitely be making more trips to try release my inner ''artist'' (I'll be positive seeing as I can barely draw a straight line)

Have you bought any interesting items/products lately or any summer sale bargains? Let me know in the comments!

After Christmas Sales Haul

Hey Everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful New Year, even if you're back in school. This blog post is late and should probably be called January sales haul but ''shur it'll be grand.'' Here are the things I bought over the sales before I went back to school!

Hollister had a 50% off sale and free shipping for orders over 25 euro, so I obviously pounced on it. I got these three t-shirts for 12 euro each. I only got them yesterday (hence the lateness of this post) but they're really light and comfortable, perfect for summer and for winter under a cosy hoodie.

I've been wanting a nice pair of boots for the past couple of months and finally got them! These boots are from Susst and I got them for 30 euros on a half price sale. I should probably explain the sale I went to. A local shop in my town stocks lots of designer clothes eg Superdry, Converse, Vans etc and after Christmas they have a half price sale. It's worse than Black Friday, you have to run to the things you want or else they'll be gone! Down below are some other pieces I got in this sale too.

I got these lovely pair of jeans in another sale too. I loved them so much I also got a pair in black. which I've been wearing constantly! I'm waiting for Spring maybe before I start wearing these, they're so comfy and I got them for 20 euros.

These photos genuinely don't do this top justice! It's a black sequinned top/jumper that I got for 30 euros in another local shop. I haven't worn it yet but it looks so pretty.

I also got this lovely and snug Diesel hoodie for 30 euros down from 60 in the half price sale. I just saw it and tried it on, it fitted perfectly! I love it, especially in this cold weather and I love Diesel hoodies.

I also bought a pair of black suede Converse with a warm, insulating type of material inside. These were 40 euros down from 80, yet again it was in the half price sale. I've been wearing them a lot as they're so incredibly comfy and snug!

Last but certainly not least is... my selfie stick. Okay I couldn't resist. I got it for 20 euros in Tesco but my brother paid half so we share it (imagine two selfie sticks in a house? Scary stuff) Mainly my two year old cousin uses it whenever she sees me! I'm waiting for a random social event in order to use it, it's so easy to use as it connects via Bluetooth.

So these were my purchases! I was really happy with what I bought, did you get any bargains?  If so, let me know in the comments!

Summer Haul! Hollister, Roxy, TK Maxx & Easons!

Hey Everyone!

So as you can tell from the title, I recently went shopping and decided to write a 'Summer Haul' about it. Personally, I find subscribing to email newsletters quite dangerous, especially if the newsletter mentions massive reductions on items and also free shipping on all orders. That's basically what happened to cause this haul!

First off I'll start with Hollister! Some of you may know already, Hollister had a sale AND free shipping which excited me greatly as their shipping fee is a little expensive in comparison to other websites. I rushed onto the site and ordered these beauties! First up is a white 'Hollister All-Weather Jacket' which I got for 39 euros (it had been 99!) I wanted to buy it in black unfortunately it had sold out. Nevertheless I love it in white!

I also bought a green t-shirt for 17 euro. If you look below I was wearing the t-shirt in the latest Awkward Sprinkles videos, which you can see here and here It's a really comfortable and soft t-shirt, perfect for the lovely weather we're having at the moment!

I went to a shopping centre with my Mam and brother which is relatively near where I live. I went to Eason's and bought some new books! I bought the first Game of Thrones book after procrastinating for nearly a year. I went looking for it in town months ago but could never find it? I also bought 'Four' by Veronica Roth as I love the Divergent series (Christmas 2012 wouldn't have been the same without Divergent and Insurgent!) So I'm quite excited to read those two books.

I also bought The Fault In Our Stars, even though I have a copy which I bought over a year and a half ago. Well, you might know about how my first copy got water damaged on a flight from London to Dublin (bottle of water burst, fun) and I gave a friend a lend of the book over 6 months ago and still haven't gotten it back so I felt I should probably buy another edition even though I really miss my first battered copy.

I also went into TK Maxx and saw they had a sale on Vans! I'm a massive fan of Converse in particular but I've developed a passion for Vans so I couldn't walk away from these lovelies at 35 euros. I got them in a 7.5 UK size (I have big feet I know) I really like the leopard print and think it's something I wouldn't usually go for but I really like these!

Finally, I was on the Roxy website (sale and free shipping hello) and bought two t-shirts and a new school bag (back to school in a month, boo)

So I bought this orange t-shirt for ten euros and the blue t-shirt (which I'm wearing as I type this!) also for ten euros which I thought were brilliant bargains.

I'm a little obsessed with Roxy and I always have a Roxy schoolbag for school so, for my last year of secondary school, this year wasn't going to be an exception. I bought this lovely polka dot bag for 22 euros down from 49.95. It also came with a free pencil case which I'm going to use as a spare pencil case should I ever forget mine on a busy day!
I've always loved the tags Roxy have. (Weird obsession I know)

The crest on the front of my new Roxy bag.

So that's about it from me! I have a fairly busy weekend ahead of me as it's the August Bank Holiday and there's usually a festival held in town which I usually hear all the way from my house but whatever So I'll be attending various events and I'll be writing about it here don't worry! (May feature another blogger who you probably can guess) I'm quite excited so it'll be a good weekend! :)
I hope you liked the haul, have you bought some bargains recently? If so, let me know in the comments!

PS. I also bought some things from Arnotts but I'll be featuring those in a later blog post. Hint, what I bought is for my bedroom. Possibly the next time you'll see my bedroom it might look a liiiiiittle different!

* All items featured in the blog post were bought by me, I was not sponsored to feature any of these brands. If you wish for me to write a review for your product, email me at aveepopk@gmail.com All reviews are my own opinion.
