Some Infinities Are Bigger Than Other Infinities ~ John Green

Hey Everyone!

So it's the end of my two week long Easter holidays. I had a brilliant fortnight just relaxing, going on Tumblr and Netflix and just generally re-charging my batteries. Unfortunately this blog post will be a little brief, mainly due to my inactivity for the past week.

The previous week has pretty much been a blur. I spent a few days outside (a miracle!) with my friends. On Wednesday I went to Penneys/Primark (A haul will be posted on my YouTube soon!) with my Mam to do some shopping for when I'm in the Gaeltacht. Afterwards I went down the town to meet up with my friend Nora. We went to Costa and caught up with how the holidays were going and what not.

Thursday was my friend Caítlín's 17th birthday! The weather was gorgeous so I walked down the town to meet up with everyone. We went to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (my second time seeing it, yay) which all of enjoyed as we're Marvel fans. We stayed for the bonus scene at the end of the movie, which left us fangirling as Jennifer Lawrence, affectionately known to us as J-Law was in said scene.

Afterwards we went to one of the local café's to meet up with a couple of more friends. We stayed there, chatting, gossiping and having fun. Soon afterwards we went walking around town and ended up drinking Frappuccino's in Costa. Soon however it was time to depart but it was a really enjoyable day, especially after not seeing everyone in so long.

I also got my hair cut that morning, which you can see below. I got a few inches cut off my hair so it feels a little strange getting used to shorter hair. My cousin was doing my hair, I literally shocked her when she realised that I'm eighteen in September! As I said, with great power comes great responsibility, something I'm not prepared for!

Friday was a relaxing day, after so much socialising you have to relax! I spent the day on Netflix. I've become slightly obsessed with 'American Horror Story' which is scarily addictive (a really bad pun I am sorry) I also bought some new books which I have become obsessed with. I've been buying lots of historical books recently, this time a biography about Michael Collins. We're studying Irish history in history at the moment so it's quite topical in class lately.

I'm also fangirling due to The Fault In Our Stars soundtrack being announced and some songs being released. I'm a huge fan of Kodaline (they're Irish) Birdy, Ed Sheeran and basically every artist on the soundtrack. My 'John Green Book Shrine'' has also been revamped, minus TFIOS, as a friend of mine is borrowing it at the moment.

OOTD ~ Easter Holidays!

Hey Everyone!

Despite blogging for more than a year, I'm still not quite sure what 'type' of blogger I am. I mainly post lifestyle blog posts however, in the past few months I've developed an interest in fashion and beauty. At the moment I'm experimenting with my blog to see what suits me the best.

Personally I believe that we should all post different things to our ''usual posts''  at some stage, life is boring when you only post the exact same things! I've discovered that I love taking photos and using my tripod 'FredOrGeorge' which I get to use more often when doing different types of blog posts.

I will be posting more frequently over the next fortnight as I have Easter holidays at the moment! Two weeks of bliss to be honest which I have been craving. The idea of having two weeks of my own time is nearly a foreign concept for me, it's felt like so long since I've had that amount of time to myself, tragic really.

So here's my OOTD, this is what I would describe as a comfortable outfit. It's an outfit that I feel is really comfy and I feel so snug in my hoodie and with my hat (the weather earlier today was horrible)

I was extremely brave (by my standards) and went outside into the back garden to take photos, even with the new neighbours slamming their garage door practically every fifteen minutes.. (They moved in yesterday and I don't like them already oops)

Top/hoody: Roxy
Jeans: Penneys/Primark
Converse: Local shop
Hat: Penneys/Primark

The sun went in, oops.

Behind the wall is the infamous garage that gets slammed closed every 15 minutes..

PS. I will be posting a lifestyle post sometime over the weekend, I have lots of other ideas for during the next two weeks so stay tuned! x

I’ll Be Waiting, Waiting On A Brand New Day..

Hey Everyone!

Lyrics: Brand New Day ~ Kodaline
So it was my first week back from Mid-Term this week, something I only realised on Saturday, oops. I had an interesting week this week, it was a total and utter blur! One minute I was yawning on Sunday night, the next minute I was leaving Ag Science at 3.15 pm on Friday with little homework or study to do.

The teachers were okay this week, due to having so much homework and study (It's astronomical in comparison to the work I did in second and third year, to all 2nd/3rd Years, you have no idea how easy you have it, honestly!) So if I even do socialise, it's now on the weekends.

Mid-Week however, my vision of the world changed dramatically, quite literally! I got new glasses! Unfortunately, my eyesight has worsened so I have literally awful eyesight (to put it into context, I'm looking at this screen from literally 30cm away and I can't read it, all I can see is a few black blurs) I got my new pair and also a new pair of sunglasses after school on Tuesday.

Once I tried them on, I literally got the biggest shock ever. My previous pair of glasses were quite weak (as my eyesight had worsened since I'd first gotten them) so these new pairs were literally the world in high definition! I've posted some photos below of my new glasses, bear in mind, they're VERY different from my old glasses, it took me a few days to get used to them. My sunglasses are similar but even larger which did startle me as I had double vision when I tried them on! (They're fine now though)

I went to my Irish club on Friday night and had a great time with my friends there (even though only less than half the club was there) We played card games like Spit which was utterly hilarious (I'd never played it before and it was explained in Irish, you can probably see where this is going) but I understood it and had great fun. I'm also doing something with my Irish club next Saturday so my blog post next week won't be up until at least Sunday! Watch this space ;)

On Saturday, I accidentally slept in until 10.30 am  (badminton starts at 10 am) so I missed badminton and stayed at home, eating breakfast and watching The Walking Dead. My brother was home from University and as he won't be here for Pancake Tuesday, Mam decided we should have pancakes on Saturday! We ate what felt like dozens of pancakes (It was like 4)

Afterwards my brother and I went to the nearest shop (Sounds like Tesco) and I bought a magazine because a photo of Dan Howell was in it! We also bought the DVD of Thor which I watched when we got home. Tom Hiddleston *swoons*

I went babysitting later on and finished my English homework about Wuthering Heights and also my maths homework (which I finished today, oops)

Overall, I had a fast-paced week, however it was quite interesting. I really needed to recharge my batteries over Mid-Term which I did, so I'm back at full speed because the next two years of my life are a marathon, not a sprint as I've told myself constantly for the past year or so.
